Mission of this SCM blog
A supply chain is a peculiar network of organizations. It is neither fully visible, nor controllable by a single organization, but rather an intangible hybrid between the organization and its environment. Researchers strive to get a grip on this complex and dynamic system and to develop the supply chain management discipline. This website aims at supporting researchers with methodological, theoretical, and practical insights.
Dr. Andreas Wieland is a researcher in the field of operations and supply chain management at the Department of Technology and Management, Technische Universität Berlin. He heads the Kühne Foundation Center for International Logistics Networks.
